The Butler Did It



It's all in the details...The purpose of ironing the newspaper is to prevent the ink from staining your fingers. Having the crisp smooth page to flip is just a bonus!

    Good question Gina, I've tried ironing a newspaper, and there were no ink stains…

    I didn't know that - I assume they were ironing it merely for the wrinkles!! And that reminds me - can't wait for the next installments of Downton Abbey!!
